He’s probably my favorite stand up comedian. He never went the “I’ve got to develop a character so I can get on a sitcom” route. He just did stand up comedy.

Like Jim Gaffigan, it’s taken him 15-20 years to get big recognition… but he still can go perform for a packed theatre, then go home and go to the grocery and nobody knows who he is. That’s freedom- not the slavery/prison that many celebrities end up living.

This particular video demonstrates some of the best things about Brian Regan’s comedy: goofiness, humility, insight about human behavior, and he’s so good at making himself look stupid… it’s kind of fun to see him really target the “me me me” person in this, because he rarely goes directly after anybody like this.
